Please check the lane availability before you visit, consider joining one of the many squads who call HBF Stadium home or try to swim between 9am to 3pm when pools are generally quieter. The blue bars in the table below indicate how many lanes are available. Change tabs to Outdoor 10 Lane Pool if you prefer swimming outdoors and toggle between days to see later in the week. Note: the lane availability refreshes at 5am each day.
Swimming Carnivals
HBF Stadium is proud to offer diverse aquatic facilities, perfect for hosting swim meets and school carnivals. During the busy swim carnival season from February - March there may be times when the Indoor 8 lane and Outdoor 10 lane pools are unavailable. During these time, we will make lanes available to the public in the Outdoor 8 lane pool and publish their availability. You can also download the list of upcoming swim carnivals to find the best time to swim.

Evacuation procedures
- In the event of an evacuation alarm wait at the end of the pool for instructions from a lifeguard.
- Follow the Lifeguard's instructions at all times.
Watch around water
The HBF Stadium Aquatic Centre is an accredited Watch Around Water centre meaning there are policies that must be followed whilst visiting us:
- Children under 12 must be accompanied into HBF Stadium and constantly supervised by a parent/guardian whilst on the premises.
- The parent/guardian must have a clear view of the child at all times.
- Children under 5 must be constantly supervised from within arm's reach at HBF Stadium. If the child is in the water, the parent/guardian must be in the water too.
- Unsupervised children (of any age) will be removed from the water if the lifeguard is concerned for their safety.
These policies form part of a national initiative and are in place to ensure the safety of all patrons when visiting HBF Stadium. Supported by Royal Life Saving and LIWA.
