Hear & Now
HEAR & NOW
Brought to you by WAM and WA Music Week
Hear & Now will bring a gathering of WA's best and brightest musical artists to the stage at HBF Stadium. In between the indoor mainstage sets there'll also be stripped back performances from some more of our favourite local acts.
On Friday 19 March the stadium will rock to a double-headline bill featuring WA music royalty POND and San Cisco. They’ll be joined by Fremantle’s beloved singer/songwriter Stella Donnelly. Opening the show will be emerging WA hop-hop maestro, Adrian Dzvuke.
Outside the stadium, sets from dream-folk duo Oceanique, acclaimed jazz singer Lois Olney, award-winning folk singer/songwriter Helen Shanahan and country/blues performer Darcy Hay will delight the evening sky.
Saturday 20 March is set to be another cracking show with the biggest WA-based breakthrough act of 2020 Spacey Jane (#2 in triple j’s Hottest 100), mega-charming rock’n’rollers The Southern River Band and indie-pop faves Dulcie, plus The Struggling Kings, to kick off proceedings in bold fashion.
Outdoors during the intervals, enjoy stripped back sets from Steve Hensby, The Little Lord Street Band, Queency and Siobhan Cotchin, all of whom are 2020 WAMAward nominees.
This is an all ages event.
