Floreat
Lane availability in an Olympic year
Posted: 4 January 2021

Why are we busy
In 2021, our West Australian Olympic hopefuls will be in the final stages of training for Tokyo 2021. We have a number of the State's top athletes who will spend countless hours at HBF Stadium in preparation. As a result, there may be occasions in the first five months of the year where the number of swimming lanes available to public members will be limited. We will endeavour to let you know in advance when this will be likely to happen, however in order to avoid disappointment we advise you to swim outside of peak hours where possible.
Peak hours are usually 5.30am - 7.00am and 5.00pm - 7.30pm.
Fast and endurance swimmers are encouraged to swim in the lanes marked 'Public Group Swimming'.
Slow/Medium swimmers are encouraged to use the additional lanes listed below.
We will regularly update this page with news of changes and additional lanes available to members and clubs.
Additional Lanes
The following additional lanes are available between the hours of 5.30am and 7.00am
