There are 1100 parking spaces at the venue including disabled and motorbike bays. Bicycle racks are located by the entrance to secure your bike. A parking fee may apply during major events.
The first Wednesday of every month, starting Wednesday 6 June, we invite gym members to bring a friend for free.
Simply register your friend at reception on check-in and enjoy your workout together.
5 reasons to exercise with a friend
Added motivation – organising a time to meet a friend makes you more accountable and less likely to find an excuse not to get that workout done. Having someone to motivate you can make all the difference to achieving your goal.
It's fun - adding a social element and sharing experiences with a friend makes everything much more enjoyable and that makes you more likely to stick to your exercise program.
You work that little bit harder - having an exercise partner often brings out a competitive instinct that pushes you both to get a little bit more out of your workout. You’re more likely to do that extra set or increased minutes of cardio when you’re being spurred on.
Trying new things is no longer intimidating – it's often easier to venture out and try something new when you have the support of a friend. It opens up all sorts of possibilities to new forms of exercise.
- Safety – Having someone to spot you when you’re lifting weights if needed, or accompany you if you're out running, walking or cycling, especially at night, means you have help at hand if anything goes wrong.
