COVID-19 Update 5 July

Posted: 5 July 2021

Please note that we are fully complying with the new COVID Safe measures announced by the Premier on Friday 2 July at 2pm that come into effect at 12.01am Tuesday 6 July. These restrictions are expected to be in place for six days until 12.01am Monday 12 July.

One of the measures announced was that indoor sporting venues can remain open but must comply with the two square metre rule, with a maximum of 150 patrons, including mandatory mask wearing indoors and outdoors where social distancing is not possible or taking part in vigorous exercise. HBF Stadium is considered an indoor sporting venue and as a result, the below will be effective from midnight tonight for six days.

We thank you for your continued patience as we navigate these restrictions and we ask you to be patient for a little while longer if your desired class or program cannot return this week. Due to the nature and size of the venue, we need to distribute the capacity limit across all locations and services.

Programs and Swim School

  • Cancellation of Swim School and Programs
  • Membership payments will be automatically suspended
  • The expiry date of Aquacards and Health and Fitness multi-passes will be extended
  • Kids Sports Club will operate as normal from Tuesday 6 July.

Pools

Due to unforeseen pool closures, members swimming is only available between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Tuesday 6 July only please read more here.

  • Will remain open for member and public swimming as normal from Wednesday 7 July
  • We request that you leave straight after your swim and limit time spent in the changeroom to allow the next person to come in as we will be operating on a one in, one out basis
  • Masks are mandatory at all times (except during strenuous exercise)

Gym

  • Will remain open for individual training and swimming
  • There will be no group fitness due to capacity restrictions across the entire venue
  • Masks are mandatory at all times (except during strenuous exercise)

Café

  • The Lemon Tree cafe will be open during normal operating hours for take away only.

Venue entry/exit

  • Single entry/exit point to the venue, which is the southern entry point on the upper concourse, which is best accessed from Carpark 4

Reminder that all visitors coming to our venues are required to wear a mask at all times (unless swimming or during vigorous exercise).

As per our Conditions of Entry your full cooperation with directions are required. It is more important than ever, that you maintain good hand hygiene, stay home if unwell and scan into the venue using the SAFE WA app.

Our highest priority has always been, and will always be, the safety of our staff and all visitors to our venues. Thank you for playing your part in keeping all visitors and staff in our venues safe and healthy.

If you would like further information on COVID-19 please call the COVID-19 Information Helpline on 13 COVID (13 26843).
